1999 saw the first live performances
from Rob Pearce's
Essex based band, Chalice,testing the
response of the public to their unique style of
music. Certainly the music was not what everyone
expected, and the band were pleasantly surprised
at the universal acceptance of their songs. They
guessed that the seasoned concert audiences would
enjoy the material, but were astonished to
discover the enthusiasm from the teenage element
in the audiences, for the intricacy and drama of
their performances.
Thus inspired, three new compositions( written by
Rob Pearce) were added to the repertoire, with
potential for release as singles, Don't
frighten me, Join in the dream and
The other side to us.
